The 2026 International Summer School on "Intelligent Computing Systems for Healthcare" is built upon a core philosophy of "Theory + Practice + Cultural Immersion", creating a multi-dimensional learning system designed to equip international students with the knowledge and skills in intelligent computing for the health sector.
The curriculum is structured around four key modules:
1. Frontiers of Intelligent Computing: Focuses on the core of intelligent computing through engaging courses, covering AI algorithms, parallel computing, data storage, and graph computing.
2. Healthy Development Trend: Features leading experts sharing cutting-edge insights on topics such as distributed AI for medical decision-making, intelligent diagnosis and treatment of stroke, and federated learning for healthcare.
3. Practical Training: Emphasizes real-world industry application. Students will have the opportunity to visit laboratories and corporate R&D centers, achieving a deep integration of "classroom knowledge with industrial and research scenarios."
4. Cultural Lecture: Guides participants to explore and experience Chinese culture, fostering a well-rounded understanding.
This integrated approach ensures students not only grasp the theoretical foundations but also apply them in practical settings while gaining valuable cultural perspectives. A variety of social and cultural activities provided a colorful platform so that international students could feel the pulse of Wuhan and witness the development of China with their own eyes.

① Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports, and are required to submit a passport photocopy.
② Applicants must be currently registered full-time undergraduate students or postgraduate students with engineering or related background. (such as Computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Security, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Computational Biology, and other related majors)
③ Invitation letter and visa application procedures will be notified later.
① Have the following documents available: information page of valid passport, study certificate, official transcript, and resume.
② Fill out the online Application Form, and upload above documents within the form (scan QR code to fill in online).
③ Please complete your registration by April 15, 2026. HUST-CS will review your application and contact you further if you are qualified.
***Notes: Limited spots available, on a first-come, first-served basis!
① Tuition fee:5000 CNY, including all the lectures, practical training, visits and related materials.
② Accommodation fee: 300 CNY/Month (2weeks, double room standard)
③ The living expenditure and round-trip ticket are not included.
***Notes: HUST will assist all qualified candidates with full scholarship funding from China Scholarship Council in early 2026, which will include full tuition waiver, free on-campus accommodation (double room standard), medical insurance, and monthly stipend of 3000 RMB. HUST will notify the scholarship results before sending final admission documents to each student.
